Abandoned Bathhouse

Originally built by a wealthy merchant prince from Zeif to offer luxury steam baths and massage to the Foreign Quarter's elite, the building suffered a catastrophic plumbing failure—or perhaps a curse—decades ago.

Originally built by a wealthy merchant prince from Zeif to offer luxury steam baths and massage to the Foreign Quarter's elite, the building suffered a catastrophic plumbing failure—or perhaps a curse—decades ago. Today, it serves as a Squatters' Palace, providing a damp, dangerous shelter for the city's destitute, outcasts, and those who wish to disappear from the City Watch. The bathhouse is a low, domed structure of faded terracotta and crumbling grey marble. Its once-elegant arches are now choked with soot and climbing ivy, and the grand bronze doors have long since been sold for scrap, replaced by rotting timber planks and rusted chains.
