This is a squat, two-story building of soot-stained timber and stone, with a storefront that seems to be bursting at the seams. Three tarnished brass spheres hang above the door, and the windows are obscured by iron grates and a dizzying array of unorganized merchandise—from rusted polearms and cracked lutes to tarnished silver tea sets and bundles of mismatched boots.
