It serves as a sanctuary for elven travelers who find the stone-and-soot environment of Greyhawk oppressive, and as a secure site for high-level psychic and arcane communication between the Free City and the West. This is a slender, windowless needle of seamless, iridescent grey stone that appears to have been grown rather than built. It lacks the mortar and joints of traditional Flanaess masonry, spiraling upward toward a shimmering, translucent dome. The entrance is a simple, oval opening that remains open to the elements, yet no rain or snow ever seems to cross its threshold.
