The basement levels contain secure Specie Vaults where the Duchy's trade representatives verify the purity of raw ores before they are moved to the Temple of Zilchus. This is a sprawling, manor-style complex built from golden-hued sandstone and reinforced with massive beams of dark highland oak. Its architecture is lofty, heavy, and intended to broadcast wealth and stability. The most striking feature is a four-story spire topped with a gold-leafed astronomical device that tracks the movements of the moons, Celene and Luna.
