This tower is the private residence and laboratory of Khellek, a mid-level wizard and scholar of ancient Oeridian history. It serves as his study, library, and a quiet retreat from the noise of the docks. Unlike the sprawling University of Magical Arts, this is a personal sanctum dedicated to the study of The Great Emigration and the ruins of the Cairn Hills. This a slender, four-story stone structure that rises high above the surrounding two-story warehouses and tenements. It features very few windows on the lower levels—mostly thin arrow-slits—while the top floor has arched windows that offer a commanding view of the Selintan River and the Great Marsh to the south. The entrance is a single, reinforced door of dark ironwood, set three feet above street level and accessed by a short flight of stone steps.
