This elegant, covered footbridge spans the narrow ravine and ornamental canal that separates the Garden Quarter from the residential estates of the High Quarter. Unlike the heavy stone bridges of the Selintan, this structure is a delicate lattice of white marble and silver-chased ironwood. The bridge provides a private, scenic shortcut for the nobility moving between the Grand Citadel and the private galas held in the Garden Quarter villas. It is strictly a pedestrian crossing—carriages must take the longer route through the main gates. Its 'entwined' design features two separate, spiraling walkways that meet at a central, circular observation platform before diverging again on the other side.
