The Stone Ring is an ancient druidic circle consisting of massive, weathered standing stones arranged in a perfect diameter. The stones are unhewn grey sarsen blocks, each standing nearly twelve feet tall. They are deeply pitted by centuries of exposure to the elements and are partially covered in thick, pale green lichen. Unlike the precise masonry of the High Quarter, these stones are set directly into the earth without mortar or visible foundations. This is a Sacred Grove and Ritual Site dedicated to the Old Faith and the deities of nature, such as Beory and Obad-Hai. It serves as a place of worship for the city's small population of druids, rangers, and those commoners who still follow the ancient Oeridian agricultural calendars.
