Great Burn Court is a Communal Squatter's Settlement and Open-Air Market. It serves as a Free Zone for those who have lost their homes to the frequent fires of the Old City. It offers temporary shelter in Lean-To shanties, a central meeting place for neighborhood gossip, and a Barter-Post where residents trade household goods, scavenged scrap, and street food. The center of the court is dominated by a large, circular fire-pit made from the rubble of a collapsed chimney.
