Organization

The Church of Ezra was a widespread religious organization was focused on helping and guarding innocents individuals through the Mists.

Rituals

Any individual could be accepted into the church and could travel and spread the words of Ezra to distant lands and be promoted to a higher position. As of the year 698 BC, the Church of Ezra had created a ritual called the Rite of Revelation in order to promote individuals who were truly connected with Ezra.

The ritual had many parts and the participant had to demonstrate a shield of Ezra in order to prove their blessing by Ezra. After the Rite of Revelation was complete, the individual could start a new sect of the Church. As of 698 BC, there were only five sects and it was believed that a new sect would reveal Ezra's Grand Scheme.

Base of Operations

They operated all throughout the Core, but were more concentrated in Mordent, Borca, and Dementlieu.

Possessions

Orders

Classes

All of the disciples of Ezra were clerics who would sometimes take up paths to being fighters, diviners, or even rogues. The general clergy involved commoners, experts, and warriors.

The following were special priests of the Church of Ezra found in unique locations:

  • A grimtrekker was an individual who would patrol the sewers of Richemulot; they could also be found in Dementlieu, Darkon, and the city of Nosos.
  • A lamplighter would traveled around Mordent and was commonly part of the Mordentshire's sheriff's staff as investigators.
