Organization
The composition of the city guard as of 1367 DR was 3,000 elite warriors of the Astok tribe, 2,000 mercenaries, four units of mamluks numbering 500 soldiers each, 600 cavalry, 2,000 local militia, and a navy consisting of 6 ships. The Atoki warriors served as the palace guard.
Activities
The ships of the navy patrolled Al-Yatir River and the coast of the Great Sea.
