Vistani

The Vistani (Vistana in singular) are a mysterious, shifty, roving people scattered across Tal'Dorei. They are rarely seen... and they prefer it that way. According to rumor, they use guile, charm, and misdirection to rob, kidnap, and even kill for money. Others say the Vistani are simply a nomadic people without a home and are unfairly maligned by such rumors.

The Vistani are said to travel from a far eastern land called Barovia, across the Lucidian Ocean.

Behind the scenes

The Vistani have not appeared or been mentioned onstream or in any published works about Exandria, including the Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting. They are recorded in an article in the Vox Machina Wiki, written by Matthew Mercer two weeks before " Arrival at Kraghammer " (1x01), indicating that they appeared in the pre-stream home game.
