History
Nelavaire was born in 850 NE in Cairhien.
She was born with the spark which began to manifest at the age of thirteen. Due to this, the White Tower made an exception and she was enrolled at thirteen as a Novice in the year 863 NE.
After spending ten years as a novice and six years as Accepted, she was raised to the shawl in 879 NE at the age of 29.
Activities
She remained loyal to the White Tower during the split following Siuan Sanche's deposing. She is one of the sisters who was captured after the Battle of Dumai's Wells, made da'tsang, and then swore fealty to Rand under Verin's compulsion. She has now bonded the Asha'man Naeff.
Naeff informs her of Nynaeve Healing his madness.
She probably fought in the Last Battle alongside Naeff. During the battle of the Field of Merrilor, Naeff is seen without Nelavaire, but she is presumed alive. Had she died, Naeff would have shown the effects of their Warder bond being broken.
