She has few friends, perhaps none. She was almost as dreamy as Danelle and perhaps as friendless and solitary.

She has remained loyal to the White Tower during the split.
Norine carries a strong resentment towards Alviarin Freidhen as she herself wanted to be Keeper of the Chronicles. However, she still almost curtsies to Alviarin to curry favor. When Alviarin loses the position of Keeper, she taunts Alviarin with her failures.
She is one of the sisters to hold the shield over Leane Sharif, when Egwene al'Vere comes to visit her. She sends Egwene for punishment because Egwene does not stop her visit to Leane when commanded.
