Terraria is a 2D side-scrolling game where you dig, build, fight, and explore a procedurally generated world. It blends platforming, crafting, exploration, and boss fights across a huge progression system — often described as "Minecraft meets action RPG."
Major highlights include:
- A reworked crafting system that draws directly from nearby chests, so you no longer need to manually move items into your inventory before crafting.
- A reworked World Seed Menu with predefined seeds like Skyblock, Remix, and "Not the Bees!", plus custom seed combos with secret effects like vampire transformations and infinite rain.
- Crossover content with Dead Cells and Palworld, along with new blocks, decor, improved lighting, and language support.
- Cross-play between Desktop, Console, and Mobile versions is also being implemented, allowing players to join sessions via a host's session ID or join code.
