Description

Aramue is a devout fey woman, following the Wildmother and protecting her domain; she defends her own forest as well, not fearing asking for help when necessary.

Biography

Aramue was born/created at some point before 835 PD. She grew up and became a follower of Melora, the goddess of the wilderness; she even developed magical abilities connected with her devotion to the goddess. Eventually the dryad became a protector of the Vermaloc Wildwood.

At some point after this, the peace in Aramue's territory was disturbed: an ettercap, wanting to gain Lolth's favor, took control of several of the local giant spiders that now attack settlements near the forest to bring victims to their master, who sacrifices them to the Spider Queen. The screams of the ettercap's prisoners disturb Aramue to the point of keeping her awake, so she is seeking the help of other followers of the Wildmother sending them dreams.

Character information

Aramue has the statblock of a dryad from the Monster Manual, p. 121. In addition, she can reach out to those who worship the Wildmother, and if they have the ability to dream, the dryad can send them messages while they sleep.
