History
Early in 810 PD, Keyleth visited Terrah to begin her Aramenté while Greyskull Keep was under construction.
In Fessuran, 843 PD, a danger threatened the rift to the Elemental Plane of Earth beneath Terrah, and the other Ashari (including Keyleth) had traveled there to help. Keyleth later used a Message Bloom to tell Orym that the Dark Heart Behemoth beneath the town had been dealt with and returned to its controlled state, although the Ashari had lost good warriors in the battle. However, Vureeo, the head of the Cult of the Dark Heart, had vanished shouting, "The Vanguard will prevail and the world will finally be free!"
Society
The Earth Ashari are very secretive about the location of Terrah and warned Vox Machina not to tell anyone where they were. They disrespect and mistrust residents of Kraghammer for their reckless mining, which caused countless deaths during the most recent eruption of the Terrah Rift and led to the collapse of an entire mountain.
The Earth Ashari trade with Emon, exchanging precious and semi-precious stones from their rift for essential goods and, occasionally, protection from the creatures of the mountains.
As with other Ashari, "Kaitiakè" is a traditional greeting among the Earth Ashari tribe.
Demographics
Terrah is a village of 673 people in 812 PD, made up of humans (64%), dwarves (21%), and other races (15%). Considering that genasi on Tal'Dorei are most common among the Ashari, this presumably includes earth genasi. By 836 PD, the population had grown to 838, with the majority still being humans (61%) and dwarves (19%), but now with a significant amount of gnomes (5%).
