Description
The Cauldron Sea is composed of dark, brackish water in a constant state of stormy turmoil. Within the depths of the sea live aquatic monsters, and the area is rumored to contain the ruins of a sunken city and a ship graveyard. The shores of the sea are rocky. Water from the Cauldron Sea is said to induce madness (along with other arcane effects) when consumed.
Along the borders of the sea lie a handful of villages, some welcoming to travelers, but many wary of strangers.
It is said that Tharizdun made the Cauldron Sea with the ultimate goal of breaking down the barriers between the planes, in service of the ultimate goal to tear the fabric of reality.
