Its lush forests are broken occasionally with verdant green grass fields. Climbing hills sometimes rise into small mountains or clusters of mountains. A few roads wind through the trees, connecting the small villages and townships scattered around the valley. One of these is the major Outerwalk, which leads from the valley northeastward toward Othanzia.
To the northwest, the Spectrum Gorge cuts through the landscape. Its geothermal activity produces mineral-dense soil in the area around it, causing the forest to become even more healthy and dense. A river flowing roughly east-to-west falls into the gorge forming a tall waterfall pouring over its edge.
The various villages scattered throughout the valley are loosely joined together in the Valley Coalition, and some of them, like Hearthdell, are being pressured by the religious forces of Othanzia.
