Society
Eighteen pirate companies, one of which is named Tempest Fang, inhabit the Hespet Archipelago. Some of these companies are allied, some are rivals.
The archipelago has a reputation for being a dangerous place to go unguarded: one may end up dead or enslaved.
Geography
The region is known for its geothermal and sub-volcanic activity. Because of this, volcanic activity is the likely progenitor of this island chain. The islands are many miles apart and vary widely in size.
At maximum speed, an airship is expected to be able to travel from Ank'Harel to one of the southern isles of the archipelago in two or three days, depending on weather. With Keyleth controlling the weather for several hours, the ship completed the trip in less than 24 hours.
The Hespet Archipelago is not too far from the Islands of Anamn.
Glintshore
The isle lies in the southern part of the Archipelago. It is covered in glass, and most of the vegetation on the island has been burned away.
