The Ozmit Sea is a large body of water separating Tal'Dorei, Marquet, and Issylra.
Hespet Archipelago
The Archipelago lies near a volcanic region. It is inhabited by eighteen pirate companies. This island chain contains the isle of Glintshore.
Indigo Chasm
This place, named after its tangled forest of violet seagrass, is a deep oceanic trench (comparable to the Mariana Trench of Earth) located about 30 miles north of the Bay of Gifts. Multiple settlements and underwater communities are present in the Indigo Chasm, with the isolationist kingdom of Testaregnu being locate at the top, and thus closest to the surface.
Islands of Anamn

Three islands surround Vesrah, home to the Water Ashari.
Visa Isle

The larger of two small islands off the coast of the Bladeshimmer Shoreline of Tal'Dorei, directly west of the Feshun Narrows.
The Calamity
During the Calamity, the Ozmit Sea was dangerous to sail; the waters themselves were not calm for a long time. When the sea finally calmed near the end of the Calamity, Vasselheim sent out a fleet to search for survivors along the coast of Gwessar. One of those ships was signaled from the harbor in the Feshun Narrows.
Era of Reclamation
In 810 PD, Pike Trickfoot spent four months sailing the Ozmit Sea during the time Greyskull Keep was being constructed.
Vox Machina traveled over the Ozmit Sea a few times over the next couple of years. They traveled via skyship from Emon to Vasselheim in " Skyward " (1x15), and in a much shorter trip between the Bay of Gifts and Glintshore in " The Chase to Glintshore " (1x67). Later, they sailed the Ozmit Sea from Emon to the Islands of Anamn in " Onward to Vesrah " (1x87). In " One Year Later..." (1x95), they sailed from Emon to the Bay of Gifts and back for a winter vacation.
In 839 PD, the Re-Slayer's Take visited Shoresight Isle in the Ozmit Sea to deal with strange undead activity connected to the tides.
In 843 PD, Keyleth sent Orym, Fearne Calloway, and Dorian Storm on a mission to Marquet, starting with a skyship voyage over the Ozmit Sea from Emon.
