St. Saril's was found in a far-flung region of northern Calimshan, caught between the Marching Mountains , River Memnon , and Calim Desert , not too far from Qian Hillfort and Shoonach to the north in Tethyr 's Monrativi Teshy Mir . The desolate, rough landscape was scarcely inhabited by people and practically forgotten about by both Calimshan and Tethyr.
