S.P.L.I.N.T.E.R. is a tabletop roleplaying game that uses a combination of dice and interactive storytelling to create an immersive world.
In S.P.L.I.N.T.E.R., you embody two characters - the Player, a modern-day gladiator seeking fame or freedom, and their Avatar, a denizen of the Splinter. The Avatar is unaware that it is connected to its Player in any way, and has its own goals, factions, and identity. This creates a unique roleplaying opportunity unlike any other game.
S.P.L.I.N.T.E.R. utilizes a revolutionary game mechanic that directly rewards good roleplaying. Characters in S.P.L.I.N.T.E.R. gain power by garnering viewers through amazing feats of daring or via interesting discoveries. Characters who use Color Commentary, a gritty action-movie soliloquy, can get direct and immediate rewards to their intended actions.
